Thank you very much for a wonderful stay in Briar Cottage.  We are two thankful couples from Norway on our way to a trip on the canal

A lovely homely place.  Very comfortable and lovely grub.

Kate & Darren Peart, Berkshire – October 2010

Wonderful place – warm with fantastic food, especially the bacon.  Thank You ! Our lovely landlady was an added bonus.

David and Beverly Hages, USA Dec 2010.

And following the star to the Northwest, we drew right into Aston.  But the birthplace was a further three leagues onward.  So here we did stay most comfortably, water the camel and pass an agreeable night before continuing our quest.

Thank you for your lovely welcome, we had a very good time with you.  It was really pleasant to stay over here, we slept like babies and the breakfast was divine.  Thank you very much again, lots and lots of love.

Many thanks Elizabeth for your kind hospitality. Briar cottage is heaven on a plate for comfort, excellent food, spontaneous humour, cricket etc. We will be back for another helping of the same! You’re a very special lady.

With our Love, and God bless.

We are back again like the proverbial “Bad Pennies”. To look over the cricket pitch with a cup of tea is so relaxing. Spent lots at Potteries as usual. Super Duper few days - Thanks Elizabeth who, like me, enjoys a Chin-wag.

Dear Elizabeth

Well what can I say? Thank you for your kindness, hospitality and warmest welcome, and most of all such fun! You have made what would have been the most stressful situation into an enjoyable experience. I will miss our daily chats and laughs. I wish you all the very best for your future, whatever you decide to do. Maybe we could meet up for coffee some time once I am settled. With Love and wishes

Thank you for your hospitality. Lovely room. Will definitely be back when we’re in this neck of the woods again - for the next party.
